David Mendonca

Director of the Senior Finance practice at Cedar with a strong network in Technology, Telco, Consumer and Financial Services as well as VC/PEs', with proven success securing Senior Finance talent for a diverse client base ranging from startups to global FTSE 100 companies.

Having started his career recruiting Finance roles across all sectors both interim and permanent, David has gained a wealth of knowledge in attracting and securing hard-to-reach talent on a global scale, and now holds Cedar’s record for the highest Perm-biller!

David has delivered consistently on retained Search assignments, multiple-hire projects for the UK & internationally, first Finance hires for scale-ups, through to front office roles; and his consistent track record for ‘right-first-time’ delivery has given him a loyal client base he recruits exclusively for – being their first call for hiring.

In his spare time, David enjoys being outdoors with his young family, loves good food and wine, and is happiest on a Safari ride in his birthplace of South Africa.
